Today was awesome. I finally was able to go and visit baby M born on February 9th. We were able to talk about the birth, reminisce and watch the video I put together. I was thrilled to see mom glow about her precious baby boy and see that her birth was a positive experience. I look forward to watching this family grow. I have a feeling it's going to be very hard to move again. Maybe, just maybe we can move to the country in the surrounding area.
I also signed with a family I met a couple of weeks ago. Moms a teacher. Her and dad both work in mental health. They are a cute
Today I went with a client to her 40 week appointment and got to meet again in a non-birth setting this time, Dr. Logan. She is very supportive of VBAC so even if you don't hire me as a doula but were curious enough to stop by my website I want to pass this information along. She's hilarious, fun and very supportive.
I have one more birth this month. Baby L is my first VBAC baby. I have such a great feeling about this and can't wait for the call. It's bittersweet as I am not taking on any births afterwards. (Maybe one in April, we shall see) This will be my last doula service for a couple of months. I will be resuming in the summer.
My name is Naomi and I am the face of Diamond Doula. I am a mother of two little men, ages 6 and 8 and a step-mother to two beautiful girls, ages 15 and 18.
