Next week at 6:30 at Mama Mochas in Auburn Alabama there will be a group of mommas, doulas and birth junkies alike to share birth stories and experiences.
Also if you are looking for a doula but I have no availability we have a new doula. Trina. She grew up in our area but took a journey with her husband while he was in the Army. Everyone knows how being the new person in town (even if it used to be home) can make you feel a little lost. I want to welcome her. Go say hi. http://www.atranquiljourney.com/

I gave birth to little Willow on Oct. 17, 2013. Naomi was my doula and she made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire birthing process. She met with me throughout my pregnancy to discuss any concerns or fears I had. During labor, she was there to offer support by keeping me calm and putting counter pressure on my hips through contractions. She also used essential oils which were very helpful. She took pictures and put together a wonderful birth video for me. She is always there to answer questions, even now that Willow is here. If I ever have another baby, I hope Naomi will be there. She is the best! :)
